Laptop Ide Hard Drive Enclosure
What interface is inside of a Western Digital “Elements” 2.5 inch hard drive?
I’d like to pull it for my laptop, but there are no screws to open the enclosure. You’d have to cut it out.
So does anyone know if it’s an IDE or ATA/6 drive (the old style) or the newer SATA type drive?

IDE is old. Very old. I doubt that with those sizes, the drive still uses IDE. However, Google is your friend, and YouTube might work as well (look for videos of people taking them apart).
