the team is a better deal?

Both are Dells. The first is a Dell Inspiron 14 Pro Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 Windows 7 4GB memory, 320GB hard drive Dell Wireless-N Mini-Card (no idea what is it?) McAfee SecurityCenter months the $ 908 price is 15 with a $ 259 coupon discount (ie $ 649) The second is a Dell Studio 17 Intel Core i7-720QM Pro Processor (1.60GHz) Windows 7 to 4 GB of memory, 500GB hard drive ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 (an order) graphics card (an idea of what means ????) 15 months McAfee SecurityCenter price is $ 1,417 with a savings of $ 268 (ie $ 1,149), I'm not sure if it's worth spending the extra money. I do not really matter the size of the screen, but the keyboard is 17 inches on the side, which is a plus for me. I use it for school work, playing on the Internet. I can download many games, too, for speed is an advantage. Suggestions?

You do not really need i7 if you play games. Most of today's games and games for atleast the next two years will not be able to see more nuclei and therefore you will not see better performance with a quad i7 compared with what you with a Core 2 Duo. i7 is too pure. Dell Wireless-N Mini-Card is an integrated wireless card that allows you to connect without connecting a cable to the laptop Internet. You need a wireless router or be in a WiFi zone. The second map is supposed HD 4650 1GB, 1TB no. This is not a bad card, but not as good as 4870 or 4850. So my advice would be fine with a Core 2 Duo, rather than spend extra money on a quad or i7, unless of course (a) intends to keep this laptop for 4 years (B) you will use it for graphics / multimedia work, such as AutoCAD, etc do not even see the first. You appear to have an integrated graphics card, which means you can not run most new games. You must have a separate graphics card for games to do well. And yes, the laptops cost $ 1,000 + decent game. It's your call.
